DRAGA CHINA DAÑADA Y LA DE LA PREFECTURA EN REPARACIÓN
El sistema de dragas de la Prefectura está paralizado, NO SE ESTÁ CUMPLIENDO la expulsión de los sedimentos que, asentados en el lecho del Río, provocan graves inundaciones, y los problemas que se avecinan, por la próxima presencia del FENOMENO DEL NIÑO, son graves.
La Prefecta del Guayas, Abg. Marcela Aguiñaga Vallejo, trató el problema con motivo de sus 100 días de administración al frente de su despacho, en Rueda de Prensa con los miembros de AMECODE (Asociación de Medios de Comunicación Electrónica), y destacó que la draga china TIANRUN 6 del Consorcio DRAGANDO POR EL GUAYAS, está en reparación, debido a que se produjo un lamentable daño, por la presencia de un gran tronco de madera que rompió una de las cuchillas. y provocó graves daños en las máquinas.
Esta empresa ha recibido las multas correspondientes por la paralización de los trabajos. Se ha considerado que, luego de tres meses estarán en el país los repuestos necesarios para su funcionamiento.
Mientras tanto, y por años está sin trabajar en el Rio Salitre, la draga que es propiedad de la Prefectura del Guayas,y que les fuera donada por SENAGUA, SECRETARIA NACIONAL DEL AGUA, en la Presidencia del Econ. Rafael Correa Delgado, y que en manos del Prefecto del momento, Jimmy Jairala, no fue atendida adecuadamente.
Se ha calculado que las reparaciones de esta draga demoren 6 meses, y estará en capacidad de trabajar en el Río Guayas.
Mientras el Dragado por estas razones está paralizado, pasan días y semanas acercándonos inexorablemente a las fechas en que se presentará en nuestra geografía el temido FENÓMENO DEL NIÑO, con su secuela de muerte y destrucción.
